Frequently asked questions
Ordering & delivery
How quickly do you deliver?
Stocked items dispatch within 24 hours and reach most of Nepal in two to four working days. Equipment ordered from the manufacturer carries a lead time shown on the product page. Large or fragile equipment is delivered by our own vehicle inside the Kathmandu valley rather than by courier.
Do you deliver outside Kathmandu?
Yes, nationwide. Delivery of installed equipment outside the valley is scheduled with an engineer so the unit is commissioned on arrival rather than left in a box.
Is the packaging discreet?
Yes. Deliveries to residential addresses carry no clinical markings on the outside. Home healthcare equipment is often part of a private medical situation and we do not put that on a box for a neighbour to read.
Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash on delivery is available on every order. For hospitals, clinics and institutional buyers we invoice against a purchase order — contact us to set up an account.
Can I get a quotation or proforma invoice?
Yes. Institutional buyers usually need one for procurement. Send us the list and we will issue a quotation valid for 30 days.
Rental
Which equipment can I rent?
Equipment marked Available to rent on its product page. Oxygen concentrators, hospital beds, wheelchairs and patient monitors are the most commonly rented — typically for recovery at home, or to cover a short-term clinical need.
How is rental priced?
Daily, weekly and monthly rates are shown on the product page, with the longer terms priced lower per day. A refundable security deposit is held for the rental period and returned after the unit is inspected on its way back.
What if I damage rented equipment?
Fair wear is expected and is not charged for. Damage beyond that is assessed against the deposit at inspection, and you see the assessment before anything is deducted.
Warranty
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Warranty length depends on the manufacturer and is stated on each product page. We register the warranty against the unit serial number at the point of sale, so you do not have to keep the paperwork to make a claim.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Raise it from the equipment record in your account, or contact us with the serial number. We check coverage first and tell you before any work starts whether it is chargeable.
What is not covered?
Consumables, accessories, and damage from misuse, unauthorised repair or power supply outside the stated range. Exclusions specific to a manufacturer are listed on the product page.
Installation & service
Does equipment come installed?
Equipment marked Installation required is installed and commissioned by our engineers. Where the equipment needs staff training to use safely, training is booked alongside the installation.
Do you service equipment bought elsewhere?
Yes, for equipment types we support. Tell us the manufacturer, model and serial number and we will confirm before scheduling.
What is an AMC?
An annual maintenance contract covers a set number of planned preventive visits over a year, plus breakdown response within an agreed time. It suits equipment that has to keep working — theatre, ICU, laboratory — where an unplanned failure costs more than the contract.
Returns
What is your return policy?
Unopened goods can be returned within 7 days. Sterile and single-use items are final sale once the seal is broken, and installed equipment is covered by warranty rather than by return. The full terms are on our returns page.
How quickly do you ship?
Most orders ship within 24 hours from our Brooklyn warehouse. Standard Nepal shipping arrives in 3-5 business days, expedited in 1-2.
